Issues Magazine Shop

A trendy magazine shop in Toronto's Little Italy.

Tacit was tasked with curating an art program that paid homage to the shop's affinity for print media.

Services provided: sourcing, procurement, curation, framing, and installation.

The Result —

On-Brand Moments

The final curation consisted of five mixed-media artworks by notable artist Renske Herder. Renske uses magazine cut-outs as her canvas and embellishes them with eclectic paint overlays. We felt this was the perfect collection to display in a space dedicated to magazine devotees.

Newsworthy Traffic

From the combined audiences of Issues, Tacit, and Renske Herder, the artwork served its purpose of bringing the space to life while also supporting customer acquisition. Not to mention, the customers returning time and time again once they've fallen in love with both the space and the offering.

Cross-Collaboration

Two women-founded, women-operated brands came together to merge their passions. This project also served as a cross-collaboration opportunity for both brands to reach new audiences on the basis of their aligned values.
