Tucked beneath Siamo Noi, a coveted upscale restaurant in Montreal, Bar Limone is an intimate speakeasy designed to transport guests to the heart of Italy. The space channels the charm of a tucked-away Italian cocktail bar, where classic aperitivos and rich textures set the tone. Amongst the moody lighting to the custom details, the art program was curated to pay homage to rich Italian heritage and craftmanship.

Material Meets Memory

We leaned into rich, tactile materials — layered linen mats, burl wood, and ornate vintage frames — to elevate the lifestyle photography and artwork with a sense of sophistication. The combination of textures invites viewers to not just see the work, but feel it — echoing the craftsmanship and soul of the Italian way of life.

Eclectic Elevations

The 35-piece salon wall nods to old-world European traditions — where heirlooms, artifacts, and art were layered over time to tell a story of place and memory. Eclectic yet elevated, the curation channels the intimacy of a well-loved home, where every piece feels personal and purposefully placed.

Foreign Yet Familiar

We curated a spirited mix of Italian landscape photography, vintage liquor ads, symbolic emblems, and timeless icons to evoke a sense of foreign familiarity. The collection strikes a balance between cheeky and elevated — playful nods to Italy’s visual vernacular reimagined through a contemporary lens.
