Julienne M’Poko is a Belgian-born multi-national artist, designer, and stylist based in South Africa.

Julienne’s love for illustration and painting is an extension of her artistic expression birthed from a much-needed outlet to create work that speaks to our collective notion of self, introspection, growth, confidence, and identity as women. Coming from a fashion background, her work is predominantly inspired by the designs she creates and the colours of the textiles she produces to make these garments. Using varied mediums such as paint, charcoal, natural dyes, and digital rendering, her work is both figurative and abstract.
