Sequoia Grove Homes

A luxury condominium building developed by Sequoia Grove Homes — Tacit was tasked with curating art for all of the common areas. Tucked away in Richmond Hill, the building is home to those with a deep appreciation for art, design, and luxury. It was essential for the art program to reflect these values, serving to transform the interior and enhance the experience for both new and existing residents.

Services provided: sourcing, curation, procurement, framing, and installation.

The Result —

A Textured Take

The art program in its totality consists of textiles, oil on canvas, mixed media, and editions. This multidimensional approach adds warmth and depth, while diversifying the collection overall. While the building conveys a minimalist design, the art adds both character and dimension — making the space feel like home.

Proper Prioritization

Budget was optimized by prioritizing hero moments for the most high volume areas in the building (i.e. the entryway and lounge). Spaces like the dining room experience less traffic, which is why we curated a thoughtful selection of print editions that still serve to enhance the aesthetics of the space, while remaining cost-effective.

Organic Integration

For areas that experience such high volume and are home to many people with varying tastes and personal styles, we wanted to ensure the art program didn't lean too heavily into one singular identity, but rather resonated with many while simultaneously offering a unique point of view with elevated taste.
