• In most cases, we offer free shipping across Canada and the U.S. Free shipping is not available for items including but not limited to custom commissions, large scale artworks, mirrors, particularly fragile pieces that require custom packaging, and/or special collection artworks (such as pieces that are held in public exhibitions).
• You will receive a shipping notification within 5 - 10 business days of placing your order. Please note framing of original artworks, art consultation orders, and large scale works are subject to an additional 4+ week processing time.
• Please note some items may be subject to an additional shipping fee.

International Shipping

• Shipping cost depends on quantity of items, weight, and destination.

Tariffs, Duties, Customs, and Clearance Charges

• All orders (Canada, U.S., and International) may be subject to additional charges including but not limited to duties, tariffs, customs, and clearance fees to be paid for by the customer.

PRINT ORDERS

• To ensure no print orders placed in either Canada or the U.S. are subject to tariffs, we have separate production and fulfillment facilities in both countries.

ORDERS OF ORIGINAL WORKS

• Original works are housed in the respective artist’s studio. Unsurprisingly, we often see collectors naturally gravitate toward artists from their own country. 
• Domestic orders are not subject to customs, duties, or tariffs.
• That being said, if you are based in Canada and purchasing a work coming from America, your order may be subject to customs, duties, and/or tariffs.
• If you are based in the U.S. and purchasing a work coming from Canada, your order may be subject to customs, duties, and/or tariffs.
• To make it easier while you browse the collection, you can filter our shop page by works shipping from Canada, U.S., or International destinations.

Loss, Damage, or Theft

If your order is lost or damaged, you must notify Tacit within 14 days of fulfillment. 

We are not responsible for artworks that are stolen upon delivery. We highly recommend you provide a shipping address that is highly safe and secure, and not subject to theft.  

Artwork Returns

We are dedicated to providing our collectors with accurate descriptions and visuals of the artwork featured on our site. As such, we don't accept returns. However, if you are displeased with your acquisition please email us at info@tacitcollective.com and we will address it on a case-by-case basis. 

If your works arrive damaged, please ensure Tacit is notified within 14 days of delivery. 

Merchandise Returns

We drop our merchandise (namely our crewnecks) on a pre-order basis, meaning we only purchase the exact quantities ordered by customers. We do this to mitigate any access waste, as not to contribute to the overwhelming environmental impact of the fashion industry. As such, we do not offer exchanges or returns on our merchandise. 

Please note we can not retroactively apply discounts. Any sales and promotional activity is limited to the exact dates they are live.
