Trained in psychology and interior design, Suz’s understanding of environments and relational connection inform her painting style. Working from her home studio in Los Angeles, her rose garden serves as inspiration, the slow and organic rhythm and seasonality of the plants inform her artistic practice.

Suz focuses on organic shapes, skin like textures, and colour gradients. She employs mixed media to watercolour techniques, on paper and linen canvas. Suz sees a deep connection between floral and feminine forms. Her abstract work is inspired by many things from garden sunsets, to dance, to travel. She uses colour and shapes to express feelings and movement. This work is intuitive and emotive for her.
