Alison Kruse is a Toronto-based artist who attended Queen’s University Fine Art Program. She works in photo collage illustrations and oil painting. Her work is inspired by the distinct characteristics that make a place unique and how they evoke emotion. In addition to her creative practice, Alison studied Communication Design at Emily Carr and the British Columbia School of Technology. She has attended Gulkistaad residency in Iceland, Obras Foundation in the Netherlands, and Ateliers Fourwinds in France.

All frames are custom made locally in Toronto by a fellow woman-owned business, using high quality wood imported from Italy. Frames are also complete with acid-free backing board and mat to for a polished, refined finish.
