Marcia Bianchi is a contemporary figurative artist based in Toronto, Canada. Having participated in shows at Cry Baby Gallery and The Drake Hotel, Marcia's body of work is highly coveted.

Inspired by the weathered surfaces of ancient European sculpture, Marcia Bianchi's multidisciplinary practice explores notions of aging, growth, and decay. She is drawn to patina, cracks, and erosion — marks that hold history within them and reveal the beauty of imperfection. She metabolizes these qualities into her work, where surfaces become both subject and material, shaped by gesture, touch, and chance.

Through painting and sculpture, Marcia Bianchi hopes to unearth a deeper connection to her Italian roots and reflect on her own relationship with aging and identity, inviting viewers to reconsider society’s discomfort with decay through both visceral and contemplative experiences.
