Swimming in the Rain is inspired by the serenity of summertime swims — whether in a quiet lake tucked within the Blue Ridge Mountains or along the shoreline near my hometown. There’s something profoundly peaceful about floating in still water as a summer storm begins to drift in, the air thick with anticipation and calm.
