Sophie Agafonova is a textile artist and decorator from Bucha, Ukraine, now living in New York. Her work tells a deeply personal story of searching for peace and belonging. As a 3D artist, Sophie expands her creative practice by exploring new forms and dimensions of expression. At the heart of her work is a desire to create spaces that feel like home—welcoming, comforting, and grounded, no matter the circumstances.
Now based by the ocean, Sophie draws inspiration from the sea’s vast horizons, gentle waves, and soothing palette. These elements infuse her work with a quiet sense of freedom and calm, reflecting her ongoing journey toward healing and hope.
Float explores a gentle state of mind, where thoughts drift quietly in stillness, a reminder of the inner lightness we can carry within.
