Graduating with a degree in architecture in Poland, Sylwia Rebelo drew upon the principles of structural design, spatial composition, and a profound understanding of textures to infuse a distinctive quality into her textile artistry. This fusion of architectural knowledge and artistic expression forms the cornerstone of her creative philosophy.
Sylwia finds inspiration in the everyday and the extraordinary alike. The urban landscapes of her architectural background continue to inspire the geometric precision and spatial awareness evident in her textile art. Sylwia also draws from the natural world, exploring the organic textures and patterns that permeate our environment.
This latest series, Harmony, is a new collection that invites viewers on a journey inward — a journey toward balance and connection within yourself. Harmony within is the delicate equilibrium of your thoughts, emotions, and actions aligning to create a sense of total wellbeing. It is a state where the mind, body, and spirit work together in unison, fostering joy, happiness, and inner peace. Each piece in this collection is designed to evoke reflection, encouraging you to nurture these essential parts of yourself and find the balance that brings true harmony.
