Graduating with a degree in architecture in Poland, Sylwia Rebelo drew upon the principles of structural design, spatial composition, and a profound understanding of textures to infuse a distinctive quality into her textile artistry. This fusion of architectural knowledge and artistic expression forms the cornerstone of her creative philosophy.
Sylwia finds inspiration in the everyday and the extraordinary alike. The urban landscapes of her architectural background continue to inspire the geometric precision and spatial awareness evident in her textile art. Sylwia also draws from the natural world, exploring the organic textures and patterns that permeate our environment.
Multi-dimensional tapestries invite viewers to engage their senses. The tactile experience of the artwork adds an extra layer of intimacy to the work, inviting onlookers to immerse themselves fully in the narrative woven into every piece.
