The Inspiration

Tacit was born out of the disparity in the art industry between women and men — where art by women accounts for a mere 2% of the art sold. As such, it is our mission to amplify female creatives in a way that is approachable to the emerging art collector.

The Medium

Tacit occupies the middle ground between oversaturated, entry-level art marketplaces and the world of blue-chip art. This is where we play — an approachable platform where collectors can discover artists, and artists can gain meaningful visibility through our curated collection and tailored art consulting services.

The Story

Art has always been a means of self-expression — from the artistic practice as a manifestation of the artist’s state of mind, to a finished work hanging in the home of a collector. It’s a reflection of ourselves.

I’ve always made a conscious effort to collect art that resonates with my own identity: works from my parents’ native city of Barcelona, pieces that abstractly interpret my favourite comfort foods, or a tactile wall sculpture that evokes memories of my travels through Europe. I encourage other collectors to do the same, which is why I’ve curated a collection of artworks by sought-after women artists — to help you build a collection that speaks to your own unique ethos.
