Azulejo Studio is the realization of Elya Brandao’s artistic vision. Based in Montreal, Elya’s artistic practice intertwines art and design, allowing material to become a language of its own in which control and chance intersect seamlessly. 

Through textured surfaces and sculptural reliefs, Elya Brandao explores the interactions between light and form. Her work is inspired by contemporary architecture, minimalist design and the dialogue between raw and refined materials. Conceived as statement pieces, Elya’s work inhabits the spaces in which they’re displayed, offering an ever-evolving visual experience shaped by light, perspective, and perception.
