High Park

A sweeping loft-style suite drenched in natural light, inspired by Scandinavian design principles. Made for the minimalist, natural wood and neutral tones envelop the space to create a calm, serene sanctuary.

Our client worked an interior designer who brought Tacit into the fold to infuse character into the space through thoughtful art and objects.

Services provided: sourcing, curation, styling, commission facilitation, and framing.

The Result —

Custom Commissions

Both the millwork and furniture bring in notes of oak and walnut. Texture was infused through cane accents, velvet pillows, and various accessories. We wanted the art to add to the layers of the space. Through a custom commission made from linen on canvas and finished in a walnut frame, architectural integrities of the space were amplified while creating this hero moment.

Sentimental Style

The collector was keen to collect from Indigenous artists. The textile, abstract work of Nicole Young was the perfect piece to add a subtle pop of color. Finishing the piece in a natural frame enabled it to integrate seamlessly within the space, while still standing on its own. The result? A cozy reading nook with warm textiles across the upholstery, pillows, and artwork.

Neutral Notes

The client's high-powered career consumes much of her time and mental capacity. Her space was meant to serve as a sanctuary of sorts — a place where her brain can shut off and she can feel at ease. Maintaining a neutral palette across the art and objects made the space feel soft and serene, yet elevated and intentional.
