Melanie Laub is a self-taught artist based in Brooklyn, NY.
Melanie uses a palette knife and acrylic paint to create abstract artworks that convey an effortless, modern, and bohemian style. Melanie’s pieces are unique in the fine details. Within each work, a meaningful place, object, or song lyric, that connects the audience to the art on a personal note, is subtly woven into the piece itself. This concept started with her first large-scale canvas where she carved a small Fenway Park, reminiscent of one of her favorite cities.
In addition to her love for painting, Melanie is entering her second year of physician assistant school. She dreams of working in women’s health as she continues her journey as an artist.
