Pape Village
A newly renovated home, featuring heritage accents like stained glass and a vintage fireplace, fused with elevated additions like carrara marble tile and expansive windows.
Welcome to a very special project — the home of Tacit's Founder and Principal Curator, Nuria Madrenas.
Services provided: sourcing, procurement, curation, framing, installation, and collection management.
The Result —
Room for Vignettes
Maximizing all areas of the space (the home of a Curator often has more art than walls), we were sure to optimize every area by making it its own vignette. Pulling in cohesive surrounding elements and playing off of the heritage charm of the home, the contemporary art modernizes the space while paying homage to its architectural integrity.
Play on Proportions
Playing with a mix of textures, shapes, sizes, and compositions, each work of art conveys its own sense of character. Through textured ceramics, burl wood frames, antiques, and more, each piece adds a sense of dimension. The combination of clean lines with curved edges helps to balance the room and feel soft to the naked eye.
Steeped in Soul
The majority of the collection is comprised of women artists — many of them being artists within the Tacit community. Not only does each artwork align aesthetically, but its origin represents a deep significance. Soul meets sophistication.
