Paula Cabral Muchacho

Paula Cabral Muchacho (b. 1992) is a Venezuelan–Spanish artist based in Barcelona whose practice explores presence, sensitivity, and the subtle dialogue between body, emotion, and space.

Her early experiences working across drawing, painting, installation, jewelry, and later studying and working in architecture in Venezuela, the United States, Chile, and Spain shaped her intuitive relationship with scale, proportion, composition, and conceptual thinking, which is reflected in her work.

Paula’s work emerges from a meditative process of deep attention. Guided by emotion and the immediate conditions surrounding her — light, sound, humidity, spatial tension, and even chance — she creates mixed‑media pieces that embody the ephemeral quality of the present moment. Each work becomes a record of perception: a gesture suspended in time, rather than an object pursued through control. Her artworks are a consequence of her lived experiences.

She has participated in exhibitions, art festivals, and auctions across Spain, Venezuela, and the United States. Her work has been featured at the Cruïlla Festival (Barcelona), Maza Art Auction (Madrid), Tejidos de Esperanza / Ascaso Gallery (Miami), and in Women United Art Magazine and Kave Gallery (Barcelona). She has held her first solo exhibition, Buscando el Presente, at the Centro Bellas Artes in Maracaibo (2024).
