Jamie Danesi is a Los Angeles–based painter whose work explores memory, movement, and place through layered abstraction. Working intuitively with gesture, color, and varied textures, her paintings build atmosphere through instinctive mark-making and layered surfaces, often drawing from travel, photography, and lived experience.

Jamie Danesi's latest collection, The Other Side of Summer, explores the quiet space between one season and the next—when fullness begins to give way to something deeper, slower, and more reflective. Colors ripen rather than disappear, shifting from sun-washed tones into ochre, moss, rust, and burgundy, while layered marks are covered, rediscovered, and left visible beneath what comes after. The collection reflects on the natural rhythm of growth, release, rest, and renewal, and the traces of what remains as one thing slowly becomes another.
