Kelsea Chatburn / Dim Sum

58

One of the pieces featured in our capsule collection with the AGO - Art Gallery of Ontario. Your favourite comfort food captured effortlessly in watercolour. Our curator loves this piece for the kitchen, dining room, or breakfast nook. By Toronto-based artist, Kelsea Chatburn.

Don't worry — we'll refrain from using the various dim sum puns we could integrate into this Curator's Note. We love the way Kelsea has (quite literally) painted the picture of a typical dim sum date. Whether it's a cold day and you're looking for comfort, or it's, um, a Tuesday? There's no excuse needed to indulge in your favourite cuisine.
