Renske Herder is a multidisciplinary artist and designer born in The Netherlands and based in the Caribbean. Renske’s body of work features mixed media artworks — still life photographs become embellished via her paintbrush. Equal parts serene and eclectic, Renske’s work fuels our inspiration and offers a feeling of repose. 

We can almost taste the Aperol Spritz when we look at Renske's photographs of Italian scene scapes. This artwork feels polished, yet playful. A typical moment in the heart of Italy — blue skies, an endless body of water, unmistakeable Italian architecture — all enhanced by Renske's off-orange polka dots. All frames are custom made locally in Toronto by a fellow woman-owned business, using high quality wood imported from Italy. Frames are equipped with UV-blocking plexi — a higher quality material than standard glass as it fully protects your artwork, as well as ensures a shatter-proof delivery. Frames are also complete with acid-free backing board and mat to for a polished, refined finish.
