Sara Gonzalez / Intertwined
Sara Gonzalez is a Toronto-based artist originally from Venezuela.
While completing her studies at George Brown, Sara discovered her passion for painting. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Sara's creations bring a sense of calm and melancholy into our everyday lives. While her body of work is primarily monochromatic, she loves integrating texture to give each artwork depth.
Sara is inspired by the passage of time — capturing fleeting and ephemeral moments onto a canvas for eternal life. Her practice is fuelled by the daily mundane moments of life, raising her two young children, daily walks, and the changing on seasons.
