Aliya Abs / Yin and Yang

$50

Aliya Abs lives and works in Munich, Germany. In 2011, she graduated with a master's degree from the Art Academy in Lviv, Ukraine. She slowly discovered abstract and linear art after she became a mother, and this preference for abstraction in her art is increasing ever since. According to the motto, "vita brevis, ars longa" (life is short, art is long), Aliya devotes herself to painting every day.

The concept of yin and yang is one that is dear to us at Tacit. We believe the best feng shui is achieved by a little bit of yin and yang — it feels balanced. Whether achieved through contrasting textures, sizes, styles, or by simply buying an artwork titled Yin and Yang and calling it a day. Hey, we all have to start somewhere. Let it be here.
