Marzena Kuśmirek is an abstract artist exploring the boundaries of unconventional materials. Combining an intuitive perspective with formal minimalism, she creates compositions defined by a balanced dialogue between chance and control. Subtle palettes, unexpected structures, and diverse forms evoke a sense of calm and harmony throughout her work.
Her practice is informed by lived experience and a conscious departure from established patterns. Based in Konstancin-Jeziorna, Poland, Kuśmirek creates in close contact with nature, drawing inspiration from its tranquillity. Before fully dedicating herself to her artistic practice, she worked in marketing, where she shaped her conceptual and visual skills.
Marzena’s work is rooted in monochromatic reliefs — minimalist objects that reimagine space through light, shadow, and texture. In her newest series, Balancing, Marzena explores structure, equilibrium, and natural aesthetics, capturing moments suspended between movement and stillness.
