Sophie Agafonova is a textile artist and decorator from Bucha, Ukraine, now living in New York. Her work tells a deeply personal story of searching for peace and belonging. As a 3D artist, Sophie expands her creative practice by exploring new forms and dimensions of expression. At the heart of her work is a desire to create spaces that feel like home — welcoming, comforting, and grounded, no matter the circumstances.

Now based by the ocean, Sophie draws inspiration from the sea’s vast horizons, gentle waves, and soothing palette. These elements infuse her work with a quiet sense of freedom and calm, reflecting her ongoing journey toward healing and hope.
