Anji Woodley is an emerging mixed-media contemporary artist from South Africa, currently based in Toronto, Canada. Her work is a reflection of her deep connection with nature and her roots, which she expresses through the use of natural materials and textures.

This series is inspired by the invisible currents that move through meditation, art, and music — the ways these practices vibrate through the body and shift into energy. In this series, Anji explores the precise moment when a feeling, a breath, or a sound alters consciousness.

Anji’s silk sculptures emerged from her recent residency in Mexico City, where she learned the intricate technique of freezing silk to physically capture fleeting energetic states.

Should you decide to purchase this piece, it will be fitted with a d-ring on the back for easy installation.
